I wired it according to the instructions but everything works backwards (control panel and remote) close button opens awning and open button closes awning. Can I just reverse the black and red motor wires? A: Per the directions included with the awning If the motor responds incorrectly and extends rather than retracts with the wind sensor then the RED and BLACK wires from the motor need to be reversed.
