The action buttons (extend, retract) on the remotes are REVERSED. The bottom button extends. I tried resetting the remote controls per instructions. It did not work. By the way, pressing the black button on the control panel causes at least six beeps, not one. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks, John 585/225-8849 A: To program the remote controls please do the following Press the Key button on the remote only until you hear one beep. Wait for the third beep and then press button 4 on the remote. Button four is located under the battery cover, just above the battery on the right. press and hold until you hear a series of beeps from the control. Repeat the procedure for the second remote. The determining factor on wiring is the wind sensor. If the wind sensor extends the awning rather than retracts it then the Black and Red wires from the motor need to be reversed. The buttons are not marked due to the fact that they differ in function depending on the motor model and wiring along with right or left mount motors. Was this page helpful?
