A:	The clear space above any windows or doors and an overhang or obstruction above is 8 1/4"s. We suggest a minimum installation height of 7' 6"s to provide headroom at the front bar when fully extended.
Q:	Hi, what is the vertical drop on a canopy from the attachment to the house to the outer edge when extended?
A:	Approximately 1" per foot of extension. With a 10 foot extension the front bar will be about 1 foot lower than the mounted height. The pitch is adjustable from about 1" per foot to 2"s per foot.

Q:	I live in McKinney Tx (near Dallas)...can you recommend someone to install one of your units...or if I buy it direct from you ...what kind of "tradesman" would be best to hire to install a unit ?
A:	We do not recomend installer but any general handyman should be able to install the awning easily. All Bst Awnings are designed for easy homeowner installation.
Q:	Bracket placement I recently bought an elite package awning. I will install it myself. It goes under an overhang. My question is, how far down from the overhang do the brackets go? I will also use the awning cover that comes with the package. Can the brackets go right up to the right angle of the overhang or do I need to leave a distance down from the right angle for the cover and awning itself?
